The Sr. SEO Analyst will support marketing stakeholders in identifying, preparing, and guiding the implementation of SEO and ASO opportunities that increase organic visibility and engagement for 1Password products across global search engines. You will lead channel reporting, documentation, and SEO quality assurance for both on-page and technical projects within the marketing organization. This role will support SEO and ASO by conducting regular site and storefront audits before coordinating findings that enable consistent channel reporting and strategic activation. Synthesizing business, omnichannel marketing, and web research data into clearly documented insights is essential to be successful in this role. Working with marketing, content, design, engineering, and product teams, the Sr. SEO Analyst will integrate into established processes to consistently document research and organic engagement opportunities, as well as overall site, storefront, and program health to provide unmatched visibility into global SEO and ASO performance at 1Password.

This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.

What we’re looking for:

• 4+ years of experience in search engine optimization
• 2+ years of experience handling marketing data to create reports and visualizations, turning data into useful insights to guide business strategy
• Highly skilled in transferring, cleaning, analyzing, and documenting marketing data from both 1st and 3rd party sources
• Comprehensive knowledge of SEO and ASO experience enhancement methods, ranking systems, and crawlers for leading search engines
• Advanced knowledge of omnichannel marketing strategies with a focus on paid search and content promotion
• Demonstrated experience working in content management systems like Contentful
• Deep understanding of data analysis using Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Google Developer Tools, Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, etc.
• Power-user for tools such as Clearscope, SEMRush, Ahrefs, AppTweak and Screaming Frog
• Experience using tools like Monday.com, GitLab, and Jira for project management
• Experience experience with Agile frameworks with a preference for experience working in SCRUM
• Proven experience working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills
• Experience in a Saas and startup environment preferred
• Mathematics degree a plus

What you can expect:

• Support the global execution of the 1Password SEO and ASO strategies across web and app properties
• Track important SEO KPIs including, but not limited to, SERP positioning, share of voice, organic traffic site engagement, and conversion rates
• Conduct SEO audits to pinpoint and suggest on-page and technical enhancements that improve organic visibility and site performance – assess site content, layout, page configuration, and internal linking architecture
• Manage SEO and ASO reporting and coordinate data collection across marketing platforms to support weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting, in line with marketing objectives
• Collaborate on the development of segmented content strategies using SEO and ASO data analysis, keyword research, and competitive analysis to inform strategic recommendations
• Own SEO project briefing with cross-functional and external partner teams to ensure relevant information is captured at project inception
• Run quality assurance (SEO QA) for web projects to ensure compliance with SEO best practices
• Work closely with marketing teams and business stakeholders to summarize SEO initiatives, collect and centralize information, and communicate recommendations and performance insights
• Stay abreast of SEO and ASO best practices to capitalize on new opportunities that help 1Password capture meaningful visibility and engagement in line with channel goals

USA-based roles only: The Annual base salary for this role is between $88,000 USD and $118,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.

Canada-based roles only: The Annual base salary for this role is between $81,000 CAD and $109,000 CAD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
