Business Development Representative

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and fearless Business Development Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, creative thinking skills, a base knowledge of Salesforce/NetSuite, not afraid to get their hands dirty and a drive to help businesses grow through our services. This role does not require formal business education but a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive outbound demand generation through various channels including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach
  • Follow up with inbound leads rapidly and follow Plative’s qualification process to advance potential buyers through the sales process
  • Develop and execute effective multichannel sequences using Apollo.io
  • Schedule and conduct introductory meetings to qualify new business
  • Achieve and exceed performance metrics including call connects, meetings booked, speed to lead, and new pipeline opportunities created
  • Maintain accurate records of all activities and client interactions in Apollo and Salesforce
  • Provide feedback to the team on market trends, competition, and client needs

Qualifications:

  • At least 6 months of experience in a high velocity outbound prospecting role, logging 50+ calls per day
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and/or NetSuite is strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a desire to succeed in a remote environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passionate about enterprise software and strong desire to develop into a full-cycle seller
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Apollo, or similar outbound prospecting data tools
